Our volunteers and donors at GRACE are priceless!  Annually donors give over $1.3 million to help GRACE carry out our mission of providing "relief" to individuals and families in the Grapevine, Southlake and Colleyville areas, as well as those referred by GRACE members. According to the U.S. Center for Non-Profit Management, for the year 2007-2008, a volunteer hour is worth $18.77.  In 2008, GRACE had a 14.5 % increase in volunteer hours from the previous year!  Volunteers donated over 54,000 hours of time last year. If GRACE had to pay staff to do this work it would cost the agency 1.07 million dollars.    Within GRACE there are nine different departments that depend on volunteers and donors to run smoothly. In the Clothing room, Food pantry, Outreach to Health Community Clinic, Tech Center, Administration, Client Services, Development, Donation Station, GRACEful Buys, and A Touch of GRACE volunteers are needed year round to help keep GRACE organized and donors gifts provide for each of these programs.  Obviously, we could not continue our mission of "Giving as we have received, to help those in need" without our many volunteers and donors!   Come enjoy the Gala as you help GRACE! This year we are expecting another sell out with 1,000 guests at the 6th annual GRACE Gala. The gala will feature a dinner, silent and live auctions and dancing!   To make the Gala run smoothly it will take over 75 volunteers that evening to help with many different tasks. We will need volunteers to help set-up and man the silent auction area, help with event check-in and registration and to help with auction check-out.  If anyone would like to come and enjoy the elegance of the night by volunteering we need YOU!
